Miller Industries Scholarship Fund
The Miller Industries Scholarship Application process is now open — the deadline to apply for this scholarship is June 5, 2026.
Each year, Miller Industries partners with the Community Foundation of the Ocoee Region to award eight students a one-time $7,500 scholarship, which may be used toward continued education at an accredited two-year or four-year college or a vocational technical program.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the following criteria must be met:
• The applicant must be a high school senior or graduate who plans to enroll or student who is
already enrolled in full-time undergraduate study for the entire upcoming academic year at
an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the
United States or Puerto Rico that will lead to an academic degree.
• Applicant must be under the age of 25 years old.
• Applicant must be a child or grandchild (natural, legally adopted, or stepchildren) of a current full-time
employee of Miller Industries Inc. and its subsidiaries (Miller Industries). Children of C-suite
level employees are ineligible for this award. Please indicate on the application the relationship and Miller Industries location.
• The applicant’s parent must have 3 years of continuous employment with Miller Industries.
The applicant will also be evaluated on the following criteria:
• Academic Performance is evaluated as an indication of a student’s academic promise as
reflected in academic course load; grade point average (GPA); class rank, and standardized
testing (SAT/ ACT score).
• Extra-Curricular Activities indicate a student’s outside interests, talents, and involvement in
their community. Leadership positions in these organizations reflect his/her leadership
potential.
• Work Experience is an indication of a student’s ability to handle multiple demands on his/her
time. It is not necessarily an indication of financial need. While a student might participate in
school and community activities during high school and not work; this does not mean he/she
won’t need financial assistance to pay for school.
• Financial Need is considered based on the information provided by each applicant on the
scholarship application form and its attachments. The form is designed to learn as much as
practicable about a family’s ability to pay expenses at the school the student plans to attend.
A student’s choice of schools should reflect his/her previous academic abilities and
complement his/her career objectives.
• The award should be made to a student whose scholarship, character, personality, and
leadership qualities are regarded by the faculty as most outstanding in her class. The student
may not necessarily be the top student in the class, but she will have shown outstanding
potential, merit, and/ or improvement
