The Community Foundation hosts an educational seminar each year specifically designed for our local non-profits to provide professional development opportunities for nonprofit boards and staff.
The 2017 Seminar is presented in partnership with Lee University and is schedule for November 9, 2017 in the new School of Business Building on the Lee University campus.
The quality of life in our community is dependent, to a degree, on the quality of the nonprofit organizations that serve our community. For our local non-profits the biggest challenge is to secure funding to meet the demand for their programs and so we have chosen to focus on fundraising as our topic this year.
Christa Mannario and Laura McCann from the Center for Non-profits will be presenting Ask With Confidence: Tools to Communicate Your Vision and Make the Ask.
We invite local non-profits to bring up to two people and encourage them to have a staff member and a board member represent them.
