Karis Community Health was founded in 2013 as a result of efforts by The Caring Place and United Way to address the unmet need of adult dental care in Bradley County. In 2021, Karis recognized the need for affordable healthcare in the community and expanded services to include primary medical care through the launching of “Karis Medical”.
The name Karis means grace. We seek to extend God’s grace by providing excellent yet affordable medical and dental care services to uninsured adults in our community.
Karis follows the example of Jesus Christ by serving others in love with a comprehensive range of medical and dental services and support systems to create an atmosphere where patients can thrive.
Karis also offers dental education, preventative health behavior education and spiritual support as an attempt to ensure long term and holistic success that is sustainable.
